LATHOM HOUSE
SURGERY
Lathom House Surgery is a semi-rural practice located in the village of Burscough, West Lancashire, approximately 16 miles north east of Liverpool and 9 miles east of Southport. We have been established for 27 years.

The surgery relocated into Burscough Health Centre in 2019 and looks after 4397 patients. View the practice boundary here.

PURPOSE
Our purpose is to provide all patients registered with the practice with care of the highest quality and to seek continuous improvement on the health status of the practice population. We aim to achieve this by developing and maintaining a safe practice which is responsive to people’s needs and reflects, whenever possible, the latest advances in Primary Health Care.

DOCTOR EARNINGS
NHS England requires that all GP practices declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
​
The mean earnings for GPs working in Lathom House Surgery in the financial year ended 31st March 2019 was £77,599 before deduction of employee's superannuation contributions, tax and National Insurance.
This is the average pay for one full-time GP and two part-time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months during the year.
