The team at Lathom House are delighted to welcome our two new doctors, Dr Yusra Al-Talib and Dr Amna Sadiq.
"We'd like to give a warm welcome to both Dr Yusra and Dr Sadiq, who bring their own experiences to our team of doctors. They'll be at hand to address your health needs, and look after you and your family." - Dr I Saxena
They will be joining our current team of doctors on a self-employed basis with Dr Yusra available on Wednesdays and Fridays, and Dr Sadiq with you on a Thursday.
I studied Medicine and Surgery at the University of Liverpool and graduated in 2014.
I worked as a junior doctor at Royal Preston Hospital for two years, I then spent three years in Liverpool specialising to become a General Practitioner, qualifying in 2019.
I have since practiced at various GP surgeries in the Cheshire and Merseyside area.
Building a level of trust with my patients is very important to me. I strive to get to know and support my patients through some of the best and also most challenging times in their lives.
Outside of work I enjoy family time, long runs and travelling.
I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2013.
After working at Royal Bolton hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary I completed my GP training in Manchester in 2018.
I enjoy seeing a wide variety of conditions as a GP but in particular I like that being a GP has allowed me to work with to refugees abroad.
In my spare time I enjoy acrylic painting, travelling and trying out new recipes.
